Transparent & Fair Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Rawnak Medical Center, we prioritize delivering high-quality healthcare with full transparency. This policy explains our approach to payments, cancellations, rescheduling, and adjustments, in compliance with Ministry of health (MOH ) regulations.

1. Appointment Bookings & Payments

  • Appointments may require an advance payment or deposit to confirm your booking.
  • Deposits are non-refundable and secure your appointment slot.
  • Full payment for treatment packages is required prior to the first session, unless other arrangements are approved in writing by clinic management.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
  • Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions, will be counted as used and deducted from your package/session balance.
  • Frequent short-notice cancellations may require full upfront payment for future bookings.

3. No Refund Policy

  • Payments for consultations, treatments, packages, promotions, or special offers are non-refundable once confirmed.
  • Unused sessions or partially completed packages cannot be refunded.
  • This policy includes to all payment methods including cash, card, online platforms, Tabby, Tamara, or other digital wallets.

4. Transfers or Adjustments

  • Balance sessions in a package may be transferred to a friend or family member with written approval.
  • Also, pending sessions may be applied toward another treatment of equal or higher value.
  • Transfers or adjustments can only be done once per package and must be used within 12 months of purchase.

Insurance Note:

  • Transferred sessions may not be reimbursable by insurance; patients should confirm directly with their provider.
  • Adjustments applied to alternate treatments for the same patient may be eligible for insurance reimbursement, depending on the insurer’s policies.

5. Clinic-Initiated Changes

  • If the clinic needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to operational, medical, or unforeseen reasons:
    • Option 1: Reschedule at a mutually convenient time.
    • Option 2: Get a clinic credit same as the session value, valid for 12 months toward any treatment.

6. Refunds via Third-Party Platforms

  • In rare cases where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Refunds through Tabby, Tamara, or other third-party platforms are subject to their processing times and policies.
  • Any transaction fees charged by payment providers are non-refundable.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

  • In rare situations, such as medical contraindications verified by a licensed doctor, cases will be reviewed individually.
  • The clinic may offer a credit note, session transfer, or partial refund based on the assessment.

8. Package Validity

  • Prepaid treatment packages are valid for 12 months from the purchase date unless otherwise specified.
  • Sessions that are expired, cannot be extended, refunded, transferred, or reactivated.

9. Commitment to Transparency

  • Rawnak Medical Center adheres strictly to Ministry of health (MOH ) standards for pricing, billing transparency, and informed consent.
  • All patients are informed of payment, refund, and cancellation policies before booking.
  • Patients may escalate concerns to the appropriate health authority if they are dissatisfied, in line with UAE healthcare regulations.
